You’ve got the ring but have you ever considered music?
The perfect proposal song can instantly personalize your romantic gesture, whether that be your favorite song as a couple or a track that sings (literally) how you really feel about your other half.
Over 80% of people want to make their engagements as grand as possible and aside from finding the where to buy engagement rings, music has a key role in order to make the proposal more personalized.
There are plenty of love songs out there but what songs occur the most in playlists?
To figure that out, I went digging through Spotify’s top 60 playlists of proposal and engagement songs to see which individual songs occur most often.
Many hours later, we now have our top 10!
Next to each song is a percentage of how many times each song was in the playlist, check it out below!

When we think of ultimate love songs this is definitely the song that pops into everyone’s minds. It truly sums up how it feels to be in love for better or worse.

Of course we had to include another Ed Sheeran song to this list. He has an endless list of romantic songs to propose to but this one is “perfect”! This is great for your high school sweetheart who you have a long history with.

Want to be straight to the point? Then this classic Snow Patrol song is the one! You don’t really need to say much else after you pop the question.

If you and your partner are fans of old-school R&B then this classic 90s hit is perfect! The lyrics are spot on for a proposal song including “for better or worse”.
